Welcome to “Just Straight Talk”.
I’m R-E SAMPLE, and I’m grateful to have you here once again.
This is where we speak from the heart — not to impress, not to argue, but just to talk… real and respectful.
As always, let’s begin with a word of prayer.
Jehovah, thank you for this day, and for another chance to speak truth and encouragement in a world full of noise and negativity. Let this space be a moment of peace. Help us to stay grounded, focused, and clean in our walk — no matter how messy the world around us gets. In Jesus name, Amen.
Let me ask you something:
When’s the last time you saw someone act a fool online… just to get attention?
Now don’t get me wrong — I know the world we live in today is fast, flashy, and full of pressure.
But just because the world is dirty doesn’t mean we gotta be.
That’s what I want to talk about today: the power of staying clean.
What Does “Staying Clean” Mean?
When I say “clean,” I’m talking about more than hygiene.
I’m talking about your mouth, your mind, and your message.
– How you talk to people.
– How you carry yourself.
– What you stand for when nobody’s looking.
You don’t have to curse people out to make a point.
You don’t have to lower your standards to fit in.
You don’t have to sell your soul to get likes, shares, or followers.
Because when the lights go off and the phone goes silent — you still have to live with you.
What Clean Living Means to Me
For me, staying clean means:
– I speak with respect, even when I’m upset.
– I choose not to curse, because I believe words have power.
– I stay away from the dirt, because I’ve seen what it can do to a person’s heart.
Now, that don’t mean I’m perfect.
I get angry. I get disappointed. I feel temptation too.
But I ask Jehovah for strength to walk right, talk right, and stay right.
Real Talk: The Pressure to “Go Dirty”
Look — the world will try to pull you in.
It’ll say:
– “Everybody’s doing it.”
– “It’s just a word.”
– “If you don’t curse, you’re soft.”
– “If you stay clean, you won’t get noticed.”
But I believe this:
Clean stands out.
Because it’s rare. It’s real. And it takes strength.
Anybody can go low.
But it takes maturity and peace to stay high when life’s trying to drag you down.
To my fellow seniors listening:
They may call us old-fashioned.
But the truth is, clean living never goes out of style.
We’re here to remind the next generation that self-respect still matters.
And to the young folks listening:
Don’t believe the lie, that you have to be loud, messy, or disrespectful to be seen.
Clean is powerful.
It shows discipline. It shows character. And it honors the God who made you. Listener Policy
Now, let me say this clearly:
This is a no-cussing zone.
I respect how you feel. Say what you need to say.
But let’s speak like grown folks who know how to handle our words.
This is Just Straight Talk — clean, real, and grounded.
Staying clean in a dirty world ain’t always easy.
But it’s worth it.
It protects your peace.
It strengthens your soul.
And it keeps you walking in the light — even when the world feels dark.
So whatever you’re facing today — breathe, pray, and stay clean.
Jehovah,
Thank you for the reminder that clean living still matters.
Help us to stay calm when the world tries to stir us up.
Give us wisdom in our speech, strength in our choices, and peace in our hearts.
Let our lives reflect the kind of people you called us to be.
In Jesus’ name—Amen.
This has been Just Straight Talk, and I’m R-E SAMPLE.
Next time, we’re going to talk about something deeper:
Speaking from the heart when no one seems to listen.
That’s going to be real.
Until then — stay clean, stay strong, and stay with God.
Remember– TRUTH DON’T CHANGE. JUST STRAIGHT TALK
